What is it?
A gripping devised play that moves through themes of postpartum, the female pain gap in medicine, and embodied themes of mental health in women.
This site-specific adaptation of Charlotte Perkins Gilman's short story took place on the 11th and 12th of June at the Grove House Roehampton.

Bios
Caitlin Shill
Director
Caitlin is a movement practitioner and performance artist currently based in London. The Yellow Wallpaper is her directorial debut. Having just completed her MFA in Dance and Embodied Practices from the University of Roehampton, she is looking forward to beginning her PhD at Kingston University London. Caitlin's had a diverse career producing, choreographing, performing, and more recently as a writer and dramaturg. As a former adjunct faculty of Dance at Brigham Young University, she looks forward to pursuing a career in academia. Her collaborations with professional companies include Limón Dance, Other Mysteries Theatre, Dance Engine, SALT, Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company, Onsite Mobile Dance Series, etc. Her choreography has been showcased in studios, high schools, and professional venues across Utah, China, and now London.
Claire Eyestone
Actor
Claire is an actor, creator, and collaborator. Her work is a combination of unconventional adaptations, deep cut references, and the sensation of eating pop rocks. She’s performed professionally across the US and UK in traditional, experimental, classical, and new work productions. She is currently finishing her MFA from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and is looking forward to beginning a tenure track position teaching acting at Brigham Young University this fall.
Mackenzie Larsen
Actor
Mackenzie Larsen is an actor, writer, and musician. She is a co-founder of the radio-drama theatre company Other Mysteries Theatre, as well as half of the writing partnership Larsen and Chalk. Recent Credits: Iris Osiris in The Graveyard Snack (Other Mysteries Theatre), A in Odd Jobs (Elegy Theatre), Kate in Small Talks, Madison in Monogabliss, Myrtle in The Midnight Snack (Other Mysteries Theatre, OffFest Nomination), Sarah Hollis in The Welkin, Mrs Van Buren in Intimate Apparel, and Natash in Three Sisters. Mackenzie is also a songwriter, currently working on her debut album Hiding, as well as co-writing two new musicals Heaven Has No Rage and The Devil's Work.
